Kingsland Wildflowers Festival

Kingsland Wildflowers, 520 Kingsland Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222

Kingsland Wildflowers is kicking off Climate Week 2019 with an incredible lineup of unique and local lineup of organizations and artists all coming together to celebrate Greenpoint as a hub of environmental activity.

The native rooftop meadow and wildlife habitat located on the banks of Newtown Creek, a federal Superfund site, was created through a close collaboration of private and non-profit entities looking to rewrite the narrative on the possibilities of the cohabitation of ecology and industry. This annual festival aims to bring awareness to Greenpoint’s and the surrounding communities' long-standing environmental burden and its transition to a cleaner, healthier future as well as the global climate crisis and the potential for local, community-based solutions.

Lesley Kernochan will be offering music on the rooftop garden from 5-8pm. For the full line up please head to the website: http://www.kingslandwildflowers.com

Matre & Lesley Kernochan Living Room Concert

BOL Meditation, 1184 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles

Acoustic Hip Hop with my dear bestie whom I've known since birth. We grew up on the same block, walked to school together, and both became musicians! And now we are collaborating, bringing together my folk flare, and his hiphop soul. We are having a blast creating together, and I hope you'll come out and see this special show. Matre is a deeply spiritual wordsmith, and I'm a big hearted goofball so the combo is clearly a spirit-hearted wordball goofsmith.

Although humanity stands at the moment of unprecedented division, we are also on the precipice of increasing unity, harmony, peace and integrity. Major global changes begin with increased individual awareness and personal accountability.

We invite you to join in a thought- provoking conversation with a great wisdom keeper of our time Sister Shivani to hear the ways in which we may positively influence humanity through our inner evolution.
